What is Cache?
Devices such as computers, phones, and software such as your favorite Internet browser and many other applications create temporary files to use at a later time. This is done for the purpose of making that device or application/app move faster when retrieving the same information the next time. Because the content of these temporary files can contain sensitive information and can become corrupted or outdated over time, it's recommended to delete it periodically or any time there is problems and then restart the device or application. At this point, the device or application is going to start generating new cache files.

Tip:
Your devices can be configured to delete temporary files upon closing or restarting the device or application. There's nothing wrong with doing this every single time. It just means it may take a few extra milliseconds or a second for what you are starting to come up.
