When multi-factor authentication is enabled on a service, you should only receive a notification when you are actively logging in.

If you receive a notification when you are not attempting to log in, there is a good chance your account credentials have been compromisedDo not approve the sign-in.

Perform the following steps immediately:

  1. Reset your password for the associated service.  Most services allow you to change your password using a forgot password link on the login screen or via your profile after logging in.
    • For TSDF Network and Office 365 accounts, see the article on Resetting your TSDF Network and Microsoft Office 365 Password.
  2. Submit a ticket informing TSDF's Technology Department of the concern.
