Zoom for Outlook Add-in

The Zoom Outlook Plugin for Microsoft Outlook has been replaced with the Zoom for Outlook Add-in.

The deprecated Zoom plugin for Microsoft Outlook is not compatible with both Apple macOS Catalina 10.15 and Microsoft Office ProPlus. The following steps will remove the Zoom plug-in and install the Zoom for Outlook Add-in.

Uninstall Zoom Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook

For Windows:

1. Close the Microsoft Outlook application.
2. Click the Start button.
3. Click the  gear icon for Settings.
4. Click Apps.
5. Find Zoom Outlook Plugin in the list of apps, click the application, then Uninstall and follow the on-screen prompts.

For macOS:

1. Close the Microsoft Outlook application.
2. Open the Finder application.
3. Click the Applications folder.
4. Click the ZoomOutlookPlugin folder.
5. Open the Uninstall application and follow the on-screen prompts.

Install Zoom for Outlook Add-in

The Zoom for Outlook Add-in for Microsoft Outlook replaces the Zoom plug-in.

Install Zoom for Outlook Add-in via the Microsoft Outlook desktop client:

1. Open the Microsoft Outlook application.
2. Within the Home ribbon, click Get Add-Ins (or Store on some older versions of Outlook)
3. Search for "Zoom for Outlook".
4. Click Get It Now.
5. When prompted, type in your Ithaca College email address and password.

Install Zoom for Outlook Add-in for Microsoft Outlook on the web.
 

1. Open Microsoft Outlook on the web.
2. If prompted, type in your Ithaca College email address and password.
3. Open calendar and click New Event.
4. In the top menu click the Get Add-ins icon  (you may need to click (...) for more options).
5. In the Search add-ins field at the top, type "Zoom for Outlook" and select the add-in.
6. Click Get It Now, then click Add. 
7. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
