Network drives missing when saving files from RE, FE or GE database view

While using VPN and attempting to save files from database view of Raiser's Edge (RE), Financial Edge (FE) or Grants Edge (GE), sometimes the network drives (i.e. X: or G:) are not available.

 

Solution:

  1. Close all open applications which use citrix.

  2. Make sure you are connect to VPN.

  3. Open File Explorer and click through the network drives (i.e. X: or G:).  Make sure the red X by each changes to a green checkmark.

  4. Relaunch Citrix by going to database view again.
